GAMES/SOCIAL AFTERNOONS
We’ve now had two Thursday afternoon Games/Social sessions and they have proved to be a very enjoyable way to spend some time with old and new friends at the Club. We’ve played Scrabble, Bananagrams, a board game iteration of Sudoku, Rummikub and Flip-Bo. We also have Sequence, Monopoly and MahJong and cards to play eg 500 or Euchre. If your favourite isn’t mentioned here, we’re open to suggestions!
Bring friends with you, or just come along yourself and we’ll find you a seat at the table to play your choice of game, or just come for the cuppa and chat. No need to book in, just come along. You are invited to come for some, any, or all of the time between 12 noon and 4.00 pm.
REMINDER – HALL 1 FLOOR REPAIRS
The Club will be closed to all users on Sunday 11 and Monday 12 June to allow for the re-finishing of the floor in Hall 1. A part of the floor required repair earlier in the year and the final part of this work involves a light sanding and re-coating of the whole floor area.
