Friday 15 May – Thank you afternoon tea for Book Fair volunteers; RSVP essential
Tuesday 19 May – first LUNCH and LEARN session – see information below
LUNCH AND LEARN PROGRAM
A reminder that the Lunch and Learn Sessions begin on Tues 19th May
Below is a table of the upcoming sessions. There will be one more topic in late July – details will be advertised when available.
Most sessions will be on a Tuesday beginning at 11.30, followed by a hot lunch.
The cost of the lunch is $7.00 or a voucher for a maximum of 25 people, so it is essential that you book specifically for whichever lunch session/s you wish to attend.
Anyone may attend the information component session/s free of charge – however we would still appreciate you letting us know if you plan to attend the session but not the lunch so we know how many chairs to put out.
Lunches will vary but so far, we have planned to have chicken, roast vegetables and gravy on 19th May, roast lamb, peas and potato bake on 9th June, and GF pasta pake ( beef) and greek salad on 23rd June.
We still have places for lunch on the 19th May.

THE BOOK
Thank you to the nineteen members gave us their contributions for the SENIORS ROCK!! book which is now in print. Their stories are interesting, funny, informative, unusual, different, original…. I could go on, but why not read it for yourself?

Copies of the printed book are available to order at a cost of $15 each – orders and payment to Polly. There are also a few copies at the Club – in Polly’s office, the sitting room, Hall 2 and the verandah off Hall 1 for people to have a browse, and shortly there will be a link to the book on the Club’s website which will allow you to read it at your leisure.
THANK YOU AFTERNOON TEA
