Break-in at the Club Premises
The Club premises were broken into on Sunday night/Monday morning of 18/19 August. Some cash was stolen and some damage was done to the front office. In light of this experience, we have reviewed our security procedures and on advice from the AFP have upgraded our locks and changed our keys to the Club.
It is always distressing when this sort of thing happens, senseless petty crime that impacts on all of us. The reality is that this person/s is likely to return, it therefore behoves all of us to be aware and report any suspicious behaviour to Polly in the front office or to one of the Management Committee members.
