DATES TO REMEMBER
Friday 14 July…. Closing date to book for Wicked excursion– see below!
GOODBYE CONCRETE LOG
This week the Club’s Garden and Facilities sub-committees oversaw the removal of the crumbling and much detested concrete lump on the driveway into the rear carpark and assisted in its replacement with a heavy duty rubber road ramp. The height difference between the lower and higher levels is still the same, albeit now much safer and smoother, and members are reminded to drive over this area with care.

And of course, some more drivel for seniors…………
As I watch this generation try to re-write history, one thing I’m sure of – it will be misspelled and have no punctuation.
I don’t let my age define me, but the side effects are getting harder to ignore.
If you dropped something when you were younger, you just picked it up. Now you stare at it for a bit, contemplating if you actually need it any more.
I never thought I’d be the type of person who would get up early to exercise. Turns out I was right.
I didn’t get old on purpose, it just happened. If you’re lucky, it could happen to you!!
Being a little older, I am very fortunate to have someone call and check on me every day. He is from India and is very concerned about my car warranty.
So. when is this “old enough to know better” stage supposed to kick in?
