Monday 9 December – Christmas Lunch
Monday 23 December to Friday 10 January – Club will be closed for the Christmas break.
SUNDAY 24 NOVEMBER – thank you from the Choir
Just a reminder – Gail and the choir members have planned a delightful program of songs to entertain you on Sunday afternoon 24th November, 2-4pm. Lots of old favourites including some advance Christmas offerings. They are planning to sing with their familiar piano accompaniment, and also a set accompanied by the new whizz-bang portable electronic pianist-substitute, Otto.
All welcome !! Please bring a small plate of goodies to share for afternoon tea and enjoy a very pleasant two hours of music and socialising.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH… don’t miss it
The list of people who have indicated that they are coming to the Club for this year’s Christmas lunch is growing quickly. There are still plenty of places available but there is a finite limit to how many we can accommodate. Get in quickly if you haven’t yet had Polly put you on the attendance list!!
For the small payment of $6 (vouchers welcome of course) members will enjoy a delicious lunch and be in the running for the hamper prizes. There are also some singing and dancing entertainments being planned. Tea, coffee, water and juices will be part of the offering and members who wish to do so are welcome to bring their own alcohol.
THE HAMPERS
Lots of donations of items for inclusion in the Christmas Hampers have been coming in. Thank you to everyone who has, or is planning to, contribute something, this year’s lucky draw looks like being a bonanza.
CAN YOU HELP?
Due to increased attendances our Mahjong group are in need of a couple of extra sets of tiles and boards. Do you have a Mahjong set (with or without boards) you no longer use or need? We’d love to hear from you.
Our Monday afternoon Games and Friendship group are in need of some sets of cards for playing Canasta and 500. Again, if you have any that you no longer use or need, we’d love to hear from you.
THAT WINNING LOOK
Lovely to have received this great photo of Merrylie Goodwin, the happy winner of the quilt in our recent raffle. Congratulations to Merrylie and thanks for your support of Woden Seniors.

5. Giraffiti: Vandalism spray-painted very, very high.

late.
