Condolences
Many of you would know Joyleen Litherland, the Woden Seniors Singers conductor, music director and organiser of music and programs for over ten years. Joyleen’s husband, Len passed away on St Valentine’s day. We were proud to sing with two of her grandchildren at the funeral.
Thank you Joyleen. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Woden Seniors Singers.
Tip for the Week
If you receive an email which requires you click on “download pictures” or any other link, have a good look at the full email address. It may say Facebook, for example, in the summary address, but the full address may show it came from somewhere else. If in doubt never click on a link in an email – particularly if it says it is from a bank or financial institution!
Thought for the Week
First day of Autumn! It may be miserable weather at the moment (unless you are a devoted gardener) but we will soon have another beautiful Canberra Autumn to enjoy. Read More

Welcome back to the Club in 2013. Most of the regular club activities are restarting. The U3A activities start over the next two weeks. Why not try a new activity this year.
Car Parking
And as happens each year at this time there will be pressure on the available car parking spaces, in part due to opportunistic local workers making use of the Club’s empty car park over the Christmas/January break and also with an influx of new members for U3A activities.
The Management Committee will regularly patrol the car park, but is also looking for members who are prepared to regularly assist with surveillance of the car park. It would mean walking through the car park once a month and possibly issuing notices. Can you assist? Read More
